Posta di Donna Soprana ("High Lady's Guard") is a posta pulsativa nearly identical to its cousin Posta di Donna Distra, but held higher and further over the shoulder for a more potentially more-powerful blow.
While Soprana is not a frequent sight in the manuals, it is a very useful guard if implemented correctly- that is, having first executed a volta stabile of the feet for maximum left-right vision.
